The first picture is of Hunter with a whistle. The second is Hunter's second birthday.
The third is of Luke's first birthday. The fourth is Luke in his newly assembled swing set in fall.

We are expecting our new baby boy May 30, 2010! Not sure what on earth I was thinking having another one so soon...We'll see what happens, maybe it won't be so bad like when I had Luke.
Christmas was a lot of fun. The boys, of course, couldn't open all the gifts that morning. I think they finished two days later! Half are still in boxes in the closet! It was nice being able to spoil them for once. We enjoyed spending the day, and then night with family.
Doug said it was the first Christmas he had really looked forward to, and was excited about, since he was a kid. I was glad he had a good time too.
The new year is going to be so full of excitment for us. We got a new used fishing boat that Doug can't keep talking about. He is so excited to take it to one of the many lakes around here with his boys. We also have those horses that need riding, and a trailer to actually take them in!! It should be a fun year. Hunter is close to potty training I think. He comes and takes off his diaper when he is wet, and wants changed. So maybe within a month or two he will be able to go in the potty. Luke is getting so big. I wish they both could stay this small forever. He is a quick learner, and can say almost everything Hunter can. Not to mention he gives THE BEST kisses you have ever had! MMMMWAAAH! He has everyone talking about him. Cute little guy!
We also have a new primary class. Who ever heard of quiet 11 year olds?! They are almost intimidating they are so quiet! I guess getting the new class has turned out to be a good thing. We actually have to stay through sharing time now. Our old class went to young mens or womens after class instead of sharing time. So we could go wherever. ( It just happened to be back home) I'm suprised that Hunter won't sit through nursery. He will go be babysat with no problems, but try to leave him at church, and it is a full on come apart.
So Doug or I has to go sit with him the last hour. Fun!! Fishy crackers and cloud juice!

That is all I can think of for now...

Hi Everyone!

We had a great Christmas this year! Our first as a complete family! Hunter is just old enough to get excited about new toys, and Luke is just learning how to hold things. (Of course they go straight to his mouth)

Yes, I guess, that means we are done having babies. At least for now... I pray!

We think we are done anyway. Never can tell though what time has in store for you.

Hunter has been off all of his medications for nearly a month now, and is doing great!

I think we have weathered that storm. Knock on wood. Luke is doing great, too! He weighs almost 19 pounds, and little Hunter weighs 21. They can share the same clothes. Luke eats more than Hunter throughout the day, and doesn't require a bottle at night. Hunter still does, but he feeds himself. We just leave a full bottle in with him, and it is gone come morning. We are SO BLESSED! Our little guys go to bed around eight, and I usually don't hear a peep out of them until 6-7 ish. Luke is strange though. He can sleep until 9-9:30 some mornings. I have to go get HIM up! Doug loves his job. He is working as the operations foreman at Rain for Rent in NSL. Which is all of 3-4 miles from our house. He is looking to be promoted as soon as his boss moves into his new position. So Doug should take over his job. Anyway, I am doing good now too. Things run smoothly at the house, and I get a daily outing. This is only to the local Wal*Mart, but hey, I'll take it!! The boys love going there with me everyday. Yes, it is everyday. Usually about an hour. Just for exercise sake. I know it frontwards, backwards, upside down, etc... :)

I should just work there, me and the kids that is. We also like going to the Layton Hills mall. They have a tiny playground Hunter likes. I got Hunter a years pass to the tree house museum in Ogden. He loves it there. Only problem is no strollers are allowed, and with two tiny kids that is hard. Especially when Hunter climbs on things, and can't get down. He usually falls once a visit, because I have Luke in one arm trying to catch Hunter at the same time. That has to be about the stupidest rule ever! Carry your newborn, and chase your toddler around. RIGHT! So he leaves with a few bumps, or bruises every time. I can't chase after him, while holding my monster size baby for more than an hour. Anyway, everyone is great, and thriving. Even through these tough times. Hope everyone is doing great too!

Here are some new pictures of the large boy, and Hunter

Camping

We just went to Christmas Meadows two weekends ago. We had a great time! It was freezing cold (literally) the river froze over night. Thank goodness the heater works!! These are a few pictures from the trip.

I also posted new pictures of Luke, my little sumo wrestler!!

He weighs nearly the same as Hunter. No wonder, because he eats twice as much!! He is posing as a body builder. You can see the most updates on our family at facebook.com I am under Elisa Williams Sharpe. I have ALL the pictures there. Hope everyone is doing well too!!

Our family

About me:I am married to my wonderful husband Doug. It will be four years this January. We have two beautiful boys together. Hunter is the oldest born 9-21-07, and Lucas was just born 8-22-08. Yeah I get around :)... Hunter was born with AV malformation, this is where the blood vessels in his brain didn't form correctly. He has under gone three surgeries to try to fix them. He was never expected to live. In fact living past the first day without fixing it was only 10%, and he made it 3 days with no surgery. He is definetely our little miracle. He made it through all three surgeries with no complications which in itself is a miracle. They said there was a 80% chance he wouldn't make it through, and he made it through 3 times! He was at primary children's for 3 months. He is almost out of heart failure, but that is well controlled with medication. He is completely out of kidney, and liver failure. He still has a mass of veins that need to be embalized, but they seem to be either dying or getting smaller, so they don't really effect him. You would never know to look at him that anything is wrong. He seems like a perfectly healthy boy. He is walking great, and can say: nigh night, mommy, daddy, Paddy (our dog), no no no, a burp!, and a few others. He said his first word, mama, at 7 months, and was walking by 10 months. No one ever expected him to do this well. He shows no signs of brain damage. He understands a lot too. Lucas was born perfectly healthy. It is truly the difference between night and day! Luke wakes up about twice a night, and Hunter wakes up at least three times. Hunter has never slept through the night, because he can only eat about 6-7 ounces at a time. Luke eats 8!!! So our little guy needs to wake up to eat. Our only saving grace is he can feed himself so we just have to give him the bottle, and we can go back to bed. He used to wake up every half hour to eat because he could only drink 1 ounce at a time. We thank the dear Lord that that time of our life is over! I think I got about 1 MAYBE 2 hours of sleep at night. Doug had to work so I wouldn't let him take him at night. Then during the day Hunter didn't want him because he wasn't used to seeing him. But that is all over with now. Hunter waits at the gait when he hears Daddy come home. He loves him so much! So we have a great little family now. At times it seems too hard to bear, but then your little guy comes and hugs you, or our baby smiles at you, and looks your way when he hears your voice. That makes things bearable for another day.
